Make a vow to keep up your marketing schedule in good times and not so good times.
I have said it time and time again that marketing, no matter what type you choose, is a building process. Here is the whole thing summed up in one situation:
Assume for a moment that you had never heard of this thing called ‘Cola.’ You go to your mailbox and get your mail only to find a postcard that says, ‘New Fizzy Drink! You’ll Love It! A Taste Like Nothing You Have Had Before!’ You might run right out and try it, but more than likely, not. Most people won’t. So you get a second postcard. Still you do nothing.

You could spend thousands of dollars on advertisement and have extremely low or no results in sales because of your poor-planned copy. You shouldn’t be amazed by the fact that huge corporations all over the world make that mistake and waste millions of dollars on false advertisement campaigns.
However, how can you write good sales copy and killer ads that get the attention of people? There are no magic recipes for that, but you can follow some fundamental rules, which can lead to you to success if you adopt them properly.

Let’s talk about how to keep your postage costs down.
At some point you find lists that will produce returns continually, but you notice that you are receiving more returns than when you started mailing to those lists.
You may see things like ‘Undeliverable as Addressed’ or ‘Forwarding Order Expired.’ Every time you mail to an address and that prospect has moved or cannot be found for any reason, you have just paid for the postage with no possibility of getting a response.
Obviously it is a pretty big waste of money to continue to mail to this address, but what do you do about it? You could simply go into the list of names that you have purchased and delete the returns. No more bad addresses, no more wasted postage, right?
